Choral Mini-Concerts set for March 27

The Kalamazoo Valley Community Chorus will present mini-concerts at 2:30 and 3 p.m. on March 27 in the Student Commons at the Texas Township Campus.

The Community Chorus is a non-audition campus choir of 20 members comprised of students and local community residents. The mini-concerts will include several pieces from the upcoming Semester Concert including spiritual “I’ve Been in the Storm,” gospel medley “Fly Away Home,” Harry Belafonte’s Jamaican “Turn the World Around” and a moving piece written to commemorate the attack on 9/11 “De Profundis.”

The mini-concerts are free and open to the public.

The Chorus is directed by Michelle Bauman and accompanied by Linda Richter.
