Com 201: Advanced Public Speaking Showcase

The students in the Com 201: Advanced Public Speaking class are presenting a final showcase at the TTC Commons Theater room 4240 on April 23 from 3:30 - 4:50 p.m. The theme chosen by the students will be growth through adversity. The showcase will cover issues including depression, mental health, suicidal ideation, body/self-acceptance, stereotypes, and fulfillment.

The individuals involved have been working on original works for the past two months. Students will be performing poetry, short films, monologues, speeches, and music. The students involved include: Mason Bright, Sara Rasmussen, Tim Cheathem, Casey Curran, Blake Lerner, Hunter Hatley, Za'Niya Niles, Alonzo Sims-Ampey-Littlejohn, Alyssa McAndrew, and EdRenzo Landicho. The showcase is free and open to the public.
