College Closed January 22nd
The college is closed for business January 22nd. All campuses including the museum are closed. All classes (regardless of teaching and learning modality: face-to-face virtual or hybrid/blended) and college activities are canceled for the morning afternoon and evening. Employees need not report unless instructed by their supervisor.

Campus Chorus Presents Dec. 13 Semester Concert

The Kalamazoo Valley Community Choir, directed by Michelle Bauman will perform works from the late Renaissance to Pop during its Dec. 13 semester concert. The event begins at 7 p.m. in the Texas Township Commons Theater, Room 4240.

Gabrieli's "Angelus ad pastores ait," Gastoldi's "O Vezzosett'e Bella," and pop artist Josh Groban's "To Where you Are," and "Light in the Hallway," by Pentatonix will be presented as well as a student showcase and seasonal selections.

Featured guest artists from the Kalamazoo Recorder Players will join the choir and also perform the "Belmont Street Bergamasca" for Alto, Tenor, and Bass Recorders.

The Kalamazoo Valley Community College Chorus is a multi-age non-audition choir comprised of credited college students and local community members. The choir embodies the spirit of building community through vocal performance.

The choir also presents semester mini-concerts as well as performs at local events and choral festivals.
