To learn more about becoming an American Sign Language interpreter, students are invited to attend a special presentation on Wednesday, Feb. 20 when two peer advisors from Lansing Community College's interpreter training program will provide motivational insights about the path to becoming an interpreter. This lively multi-media two-hour session begins at 4 p.m. in room 4540 at the Texas Township Campus.

All ASL students are invited to attend to learn about LCC's interpreter training program. WMU's ASL III, IV and Deaf Culture and History students have also been invited to attend.

The peer advisors from LCC will present a 45-minute presentation describing the entry process, course work and testing process for becoming an interpreter. They will also demonstrate the interpreting process and hold a Q&A period.
