Business Club Members Qualify for National Competition
Kalamazoo Valley Community College Business Club members Erin Kash and Jack Collins recently qualified for the Business Professionals of America (BPA) national competition.
Kash and Collins competed in a field of 110 students from various colleges including Central Michigan University, Northwood University, Davenport University, Alma College, Bay College and Montcalm Community College at the BPA State Leadership Conference on Saturday, February 9.
Kash qualified in the categories of Interview Skills and Administrative Support Concepts while Collins qualified in the category of Personal Financial Management.
Kalamazoo Valley’s Business Club is open to business and accounting students. It is meant to give participants a chance to network with business professionals and to develop soft skills necessary for professional workplaces.
The pair will travel to BPA National Competition in Anaheim, California May 1 to May 5.
