Rape Aggression Defense System (RAD) Training
Don Benthin, Public Safety captain at Kalamazoo Valley Community College will teach Rape Aggression Defense System training, 8 to 11 a.m. on July 8, 9 and 10.
The Rape Aggression Defense (RAD) System is a program of realistic self-defense tactics and techniques. It is a comprehensive course for women that begins with awareness, prevention, risk reduction and avoidance, while progressing on to the basics of hands-on defense training.
Participants should wear loose, comfortable clothing. Students, staff and faculty are welcome. The class will be taught at Texas Township, room to be announced. To sign up for this training, email mcartwright@kvcc.edu.
