Diversity and Inclusion welcomes Dr. Jessica Rickert, DDS on Nov. 7
In honor of Native American History Month, the Office of Diversity and Inclusion welcomes Dr. Jessica Rickert, DDS, as she speaks to students in Dental Hygiene and Health Careers on November 7, 2019
11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Room 4240 at Texas Township Campus and
2:30 to 4 p.m. in Room 223 at the Culinary and Allied Health Building
Dr. Rickert, a member of the Prairie Band Pottawatomi Nation, was the keynote speaker at the Michigan Oral Health Coalition in October 2019. A unique pathfinder, she inspired as she shared her personal journey to become the first female American Indian dentist in the USA. She has a longstanding commitment to strengthen our community by advancing diversity and inclusion in the dental profession.
