Feb. 19 Spotlight On Performing Arts at the CNM
The February 19 Spotlight On session at the Center for New Media focuses on the Performing Arts with guest speaker Yolanda Lavender.
Join us for this special event to learn more about the performing arts and the work of Yolanda Lavender. Refreshments will be provided.
All Valley students are welcome regardless of major or experience. Yolonda Lavender is a native of Kalamazoo, community activist and performing artist with the independent label Truth Tone Records. Yolonda is a graduate of Kalamazoo Public Schools, holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Western Michigan University and is currently a Master’s in Public Administration degree candidate at WMU.
Yolonda is a Certified Nonprofit Professional receiving her certification through the
national organization, the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance. Yolonda is the founder and CEO
of Soul Artistry LLC, an arts consulting company and currently serves as the Grant Program Manager with the Stryker Johnston Foundation.
The event takes place at 1 p.m. in Room 105 at the CNM.
