CNM Hosts April Student Art Show

The April Art Hop exhibit at the Center for New Media is the Student Art Show. Entries are being accepted for consideration until March 26, 2020. This is a juried art competition. Not all entries will be accepted into the show. However, a select group of entries not selected for the show will be on display in the Center for New Media, South Gallery.

Any Kalamazoo Valley Community College student enrolled between September 2019 and May 2020 is eligible to participate. Each student may submit a maximum of two pieces of artwork. All work must have been completed within the past two years.

All 2D art must be framed and ready for hanging with proper wire and hooks. Clip frames are not allowed. Improperly presented works will be disqualified. Works on stretched canvas do not need frames, but the sides must be clean craftsmanship.

The opening reception date will be announced later. Due to Coronavirus concerns, the Center for New Media is closed until April 6 and will not be open for Art Hop. Watch for details about an online exhibit viewing option.

Awards will be given to Best of Show, First, Second, and Third Place.
