Kalamazoo Valley Hosts Virtual Decision Day
High school students in the class of 2020 who plan to enroll at Kalamazoo Valley Community College are invited to attend a virtual College Decision Day Thursday, May 7 at 11 a.m. via the digital platform, Zoom.
College Decision Day, which mimics the NCAA’s National Signing Day for athletes, celebrates high school seniors who have made the decision to go to college while encouraging younger students and families to prepare for their education beyond high school. Michigan College Access Network is leading these efforts to ensure that students celebrate their continued education beyond high school.
This year’s celebration is taking place in digital spaces since the global health crisis related to the coronavirus is not permitting the traditional, in-person events and rallies.
"We're thrilled to welcome students from the class of 2020 to Kalamazoo Valley Community College and look forward to recognizing their accomplishments during our Decision Day celebration," said Megan Pauken, director of enrollment management at Kalamazoo Valley.
Students who plan to attend Kalamazoo Valley should join the celebration on ZOOM at
