Fall Registration Temporarily Closing, More Online Classes Being Added
To meet student health and safety needs resulting from the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic, course offerings are being revised and additional online classes are being added to the fall semester schedule at Kalamazoo Valley Community College. In order to do so, fall registration will be unavailable from noon on June 5 until 7 a.m. on June 22.
Due to the schedule changes, the majority of students who have already enrolled in fall semester courses will be dropped from their classes. Students will be contacted by phone and by email with important steps they need to take to re-enroll in classes. Students should watch for both communications in the next two weeks.
While the majority of fall classes will be held online, some courses that require labs, including those in the industrial trades, health careers and wellness and physical education, will be held on campus, in person. Additionally, some liberal arts course will have face-to-face instruction. The updated class schedule will be online to view on June 16.
Priority registration will open at 7 a.m. on June 22 for students who were already enrolled in fall semester courses and need to re-enroll in classes. Registration will be available for all students beginning June 25 at 7 a.m. Fall semester classes begin September 8.
