Important Announcement from the President's Office

Dear College Community,

I am very pleased to announce that Director of Facilities and Construction Management, Dannie Alexander, has been named the Vice President for Campus Planning and Operations. This new Cabinet level position will report directly to me and will include full responsibility for the following operational areas:

  • Custodial and Maintenance and Grounds and Vehicles

  • Wellness and Fitness Center

  • Athletics/Student Relations/Student Conduct

  • Public Safety

  • Materials Handling

  • Facility and Event Scheduling Services

  • Governmental Relations and Legal Affairs

  • Construction Management

  • Operational Support Services


    • Working together with colleagues, this position will be responsible for planning and implementing services vital to daily and long-term operations. This includes an expanded Operational Support Services Team, which will now include the college switchboard. This group is directed by Cathy Colella, Director of Operational and Institutional Support Services.

    I am also pleased to announce that Alisha Cederberg has been named Associate Dean of Student Experience reporting to the Provost and Vice President for Instruction and Student Services, Dr. Paige Eagan. In addition to retaining supervisory responsibility for Financial Aid, the position will provide administrative direction and leadership for:

  • Admissions, Records and Registration

  • International Student Services

  • Enrollment Management


    • The overall goal of this team will be to ensure a seamless and positive experience for students beginning with preenrollment through certificate or degree completion or transfer. The position will lead joint services collaborations to implement student-focused initiatives involving internal and external stakeholders.

    In related news, Evan Pauken, Director of Student Retention and Completion, will report to the Associate Vice President for Analytics, Research and Compliance, Kathy Johnson.
