College Closed January 21st
The college is closed for business January 21st. All campuses including the museum are closed. All classes (regardless of teaching and learning modality: face-to-face virtual or hybrid/blended) and college activities are canceled for the morning afternoon and evening. Employees need not report unless instructed by their supervisor.

Student Success & Learning Outcomes

Board Policy 404

A quantitative report pertaining to student success and retention shall be provided in the following areas:

  1. Attainment of Educational Goals

    2. Percentage of graduating students who report reaching their KVCC goals, including measuring trends over time.

  2. Successful Completion of Courses

    3. Successful course completion rates by discipline/program, with trends over time.

  3. Semester to Semester Retention

    4. Percentage of returning students who persist from one semester to the next, with trends over time.

  4. Student Learning Assessment

    5. Reports of student learning outcomes assessment, including but not limited to Higher Learning Commission-related requirements and graduation competencies for certificate and associate degree programs.
