Building access is provided to allow the college community access to the campuses
and buildings to access classes and student services. Building access is adjusted
between semesters and during scheduled closures and recesses. Building hours are
subject to change. Links to the Kalamazoo Valley Museum, specific office, and
department hours are available below. For general questions regarding building access,

Due to the Summer Recess the college will close on July 2 and July 3 at 5pm at the following locations: Anna Whitten Hall, Center for New Media, Food Innovation Center, Marilyn J. Schlack Culinary and Allied Health Building, and the Texas Township Campus.

Student ID card access is provided around the class schedule with access granted 15 minutes before the start of the class. A door buzzer is located adjacent to the main entrance for those who need assistance with entry.

The main entrance by the visitor parking area is open during the hours listed above. Additional keycard access is provided to students on Mondays and Thursdays until 8:00 p.m. Students
should swipe their student ID card at the electronic card reader at the main entrance to enter the building.
Keycard access is also provided for students in the Phlebotomy Technician Program on Tuesdays until 8pm between April 16 and May 23 and on June 18. Additional access is also provided to KRESA students during their class times.
