iTunes U

iTunes U is an (Apple) app that works on the iPad, iPod touch, iPhone, even on a PC. This app gives you access to complete courses from leading educators. It contains a catalog of free educational digital content. Since the content is online, you have anywhere, anytime education. These courses can offer discussions and assignments. Some contain audio/video, or documents/books.
Also, You can create courses on iTunes U. This is a free activity. You can create course content using such iOS applications as the camera, Pages, Numbers, Keynote and other applications. If you choose, you can publish your course to the iTunes U catalog and it will be available to everyone.

The iTunes U app lets students enroll in a course and download all of the materials they need when they are connected to Wi-Fi — which means learning and studying can happen anywhere, at anytime with just an iPad/iPod touch/iPhone.
