What is my KVCC user name and/or password?
Your KVCC username is your first initial, max 10 letters of last name, and last 4 digits of your Valley ID number. For example, John Smith's Valley ID Number is V0011234. John's user name would be jsmith1234.
You will assign your password when you first create your My Valley account. If you have forgotten your password, you can use the "Forgot your password?" tool on the login screen to reset your own password.
You can also go to any KVCC computer lab or the Admissions, Registration and Records office to have it reset for you once you show proper identification. Zoom appointments are available if you are not able to come in person.
Where do I find MyValley?
MyValley is located at: https://www.kvcc.edu/myvalley/. There is also a link on the header of the website.
How do I access my online assignments in Canvas?
- Click the “View” link in the Canvas column of the Enrollments section of MyValley
- If you want to go directly to Canvas, you can browse to https://canvas.kvcc.edu.
How do I access my KVCC Email?
Login to MyValley (for help with logging in, please see above). Click on the "Email" icon on the toolbar at the top of the page.
How do I add/drop classes online?
Login to MyValley (for help with logging in, please see above). As you scroll down the page you should see the Registration block. This will give you registration links or tell you when registration will be available to you for a semester. There are also helpful “How-To” videos to walk you through the registration process.
How do I view my transcript online?
Login to MyValley (for help with logging in, please see above). Click on the "Banner Self-Service" link located in the "Quick Links" section of the left-hand menu. Click on "Student Services & Financial Aid" link. Click on the "Student Records" link. Click on the "Academic Transcript" link.
How do I check my final grades online?
Login to MyValley (for help with logging in, please see above). On the "Home" tab (default page), Click on the "Banner Self-Service" link located in the "Quick Links" section of the left-hand menu. Click on "Student Services & Financial Aid" link. Click on the "Student Records" link. Click on the "Final Grades" link. Choose the term from the drop down list for the grades you want to view.
How can I forward my KVCC Email to another account?
Login to MyValley (for help with logging in, please see above). Click on the "Email" icon located in the upper right corner. Click on the "Options" text link in the top menu. Click on the "Settings" text link in the left navigation menu. Enter the email address to forward mail to in the "Mail Forwarding" section near the bottom. Click on the "Save Settings" button.
