Audio Visual Equipment Usage Instructions

If your classroom is equipped with a data projector, computer, and VCR.

To view a video:

  • Locate the remote control for the data projector and press the on button. It will take less that one minute for the lamp to warm up. You will see a 30 to 0 countdown before the image is displayed.
  • Pull down the projection screen.
  • Turn on the VCR and insert your video.
  • Press the play button or rotate the round shuttle.
  • To adjust the volume for the VCR use the volume knob on the speakers sitting on top of the VCR.

NOTE: If the video does not project onto the projection screen - locate the mode button on the data projector remote and press it slowly one or more times until the video mode displays.

To view the computer:

  • Locate the remote control for the data projector and press the on button. It will take less that one minute for the lamp to warm up. You will see a 30 to 0 countdown before the image is displayed.
  • Pull down the projection screen.
  • To adjust the volume for the computer, use the volume knob on the computer speakers or the volume icon in the system tray on the computer.

NOTE: If the monitor display does not project onto the projection screen - locate the mode button on the data projector remote and press it slowly one or more times until the computer monitor displays.
