Articulation

Kalamazoo Valley Community College has numerous articulation agreements that allow greater acceptance of programs and courses that may not be typically transferable. These articulations serve as a bridge and give KVCC students additional options. We have included below a sample of the universities that have signed articulation agreements.

Central Michigan University

KVCC has articulation agreements with Central Michigan University in place through MiTransfer Pathways Initiative.

Cornerstone University
Cornerstone University offers an accelerated degree completion program for associate degree graduates. The degree programs are designed for working adults with at least two years of full time work experience. Contact the Professional and Graduate Studies Office at 800-947-2382.
Davenport University
Davenport University offers graduates of KVCC the option of finishing a bachelors degree with a "3+1" option. Several DU Bachelor degree programs are available through the University Center on the Kalamazoo Valley campus.
Siena Heights University
Siena Heights offers several locations for degree completion programs throughout the state as well as many online degree completion options. Siena Heights also offers KVCC students the opportunity to complete their Bachelor degree through a “3+1” option on KVCC’s Campus. This means a KVCC student has the opportunity to complete a third year (equivalent to 30 credits) at KVCC beyond the completion of their Associate’s degree at KVCC. Spring Arbor University

KVCC has articulation agreements with Spring Arbor University in place through MiTransfer Pathways Initiative.

Walsh College

KVCC has articulation agreements with Walsh College in place through MiTransfer Pathways Initiative.

Western Michigan University

KVCC has articulation agreements in place with Western Michigan University (WMU) to facilitate transfer between the following programs of study:

  • KVCC Associate of Arts (AA) Business Administration to WMU Bachelors of Business Administration
  • KVCC Associate of Applied Science Nursing (RN) to WMU Bachelors of of Science in Nursing (BSN)
University of Phoenix
Elevate your education by transferring your KVCC credits toward a U of P degree. U of P will provide a 5% tuition reduction and a 100% prior learning fee reduction to new students entering into a Bachelor degree program to students who have obtained an associate degree.
