Direct Loan Counseling

Direct Loan Entrance Loan Counseling
(New borrowers at KVCC are required to complete Entrance Loan Counseling, one session covers both the Subsidized and Unsubsidized Stafford loan.)

You'll be directed to the Direct Loan website (studentloans.gov). Open the "Manage My Direct Loan" link, sign in using your FSA ID. Once signed in, select "Complete Counseling". On the next page select "Entrance Counseling". Once completed, KVCC will be notified the following business day.

Direct Loan Exit Loan Counseling
(Required for students who have dropped below half-time and/or have completed their education at KVCC)

You'll be directed to the Direct Loan website (studentloans.gov). Open the "Manage My Direct Loan" link, sign in using your FSA ID. Once signed in, select "Complete Counseling". On the next page select "Exit Counseling". KVCC will be notified electronically.
