What is Financial Aid

Financial aid is any source of funds available to assist students and their families with the costs of attending college.

There are four sources of financial aid:

• Federal Government
• State Government
• KVCC
• Loans

There are four types of financial aid:

• Grants
  • Pell
  • SEOG
• Scholarships
• Work Study
• Loans
