Kalamazoo Valley Identification Cards
Obtaining your Student ID card is easy:

Example of a Kalamazoo Valley ID card. As a new student, you need to get a Valley ID card. A Valley ID card is needed to use many student services, including parking validation, testing and door access at our downtown campuses.

*Important: Before you obtain your ID you must complete the following steps:

  1. Sign in to your MyValley Account
  2. Ensure that you have registered classes
  3. Bring along a photo ID and proof of identity

Obtain your ID in person:

Request your ID in MyValley virtually:

  1. Sign into your MyValley Account
  2. Go to My Profile & Settings: Valley ID Request and follow the instructions.
  3. Upload a photo and appropriate documents.
  4. Your ID will be mailed to your home (allow at least 10 days for processing and mailing for this option).

FAQs about your Kalamazoo Valley ID:

  1. Your first ID card is free of charge. Replacement fees are $10.
  2. The same ID card is valid from the first day of the semester a student is registered for to the final day of that semester. This ID is valid for all semesters following if the student is registered.
  3. No person shall possess a Kalamazoo Valley ID that is issued to another. No person shall loan, or allow another person to use their ID.
  4. Student ID cards are the property of the college, and may be cancelled or revoked for misuse.
  5. Kalamazoo Valley students, as a condition of enrollment, shall provide their Kalamazoo Valley ID to a Public Safety Officer or Kalamazoo Valley staff member upon request.

Student Service Center Desk

The Student Service Center Desk staff members provide guidance, directions, maps, referrals and information about the college, services and facilities. Staff members can schedule appointments for students, including Admissions, Records and Registration, Financial Aid, New Student Orientation, Transfer Services, Kalamazoo Promise Services, Career Advising, Pathway Advising and Academic Counselors, Student Strengths Development.

Located inside the north or "flag" entrance near the bookstore at the Texas Township Campus.

Anna Whitten Hall (AWH)
Student Services Office

The downtown location at Anna Whitten Hall also provides parking validation, pay station services, financial aid assistance (on designated days) days and admissions, records and registration functions. Staff members provide guidance, directions, maps, referrals and information about the college, services and facilities. Staff members can schedule appointments for students, including Admissions, Records and Registration, Financial Aid, New Student Orientation, Transfer Services, Kalamazoo Promise Services, Career Advising, Pathway Advising and Academic Counselors, Student Strengths Development. Kalamazoo Valley ID Cards are issued in the Student Services Office.
