January 4, 2021
Greetings Colleagues,
We are looking forward to the beginning of Winter Semester 2021. Classes will resume on Jan. 15.
Our continued health and safety precautions include restrictions on access to all campus buildings. However, some on-campus services will be offered on a limited basis beginning Monday, Jan. 11. The flexibility provided by our Pandemic Response Plan allows for this pivot based on new information and these changes allow the college to remain in compliance with all guidelines for health and safety.
Unless you hear from your supervisor this week, if you are working at home, plan on continuing to work from home. Employees returning to work on campus, must follow all college health and safety guidelines found at www.kvcc.edu/coronavirus, including completing a daily health screening at https://misymptomapp.state.mi.us/. The college will continue to prioritize serving our students and guests, whether on-campus, remotely or online. In addition, limited curbside services will be offered at our campuses.
This New Year will continue to provide opportunities for innovation and commitment to our mission. I will stay in contact with you in the coming days and weeks. Let's continue to work together so that we can minimize the long-term effects of this unprecedented situation on our lives and community.
Stay safe and take good care of yourself and one another.
Sincerely,

L. Marshall Washington, Ph.D.
President
