Policies and Procedures

The primary purpose of the facilities is to support the mission and prioritize the academic functions of the college. The mission of the Event Services Office is to uphold the primary purpose of the facilities and deliver exceptional Kalamazoo Valley service to all stakeholders and customers.

The Event Services Office in collaboration with the Facility Use Council has established a procedures manual to serve as a guide for the scheduling and execution of event coordination by the Event Services Office.The purpose of the document is to provide all stakeholders with tools on the scheduling of on-campus events and activities at the College.

The Event Services Office Procedure Manual governs the use of all facilities (including outdoor areas) owned or leased by Kalamazoo Valley Community College or otherwise under the college's operating authority, for both affiliated and unaffiliated groups and individuals.

Included in the manual is information on process, procedures, and rules and regulations related to facility use.
