Kalamazoo Valley Groves Campus

Creating an educated workforce skilled to meet the demands of a changing economy has been the focus at Kalamazoo Valley Community College’s Groves Campus since its inception in 2001. Originally opened as one of 18 M-TEC facilities across the state, it was financed by a $5-million grant from the Michigan Economic Development Corp. with $6 million in matching funds provided by area companies and foundations.

The Groves offers custom training for businesses, a catalogue of courses open to the public, and a series of career-track academies that train or retrain workers for high-demand careers in fields like wind turbine technology, utility line work, law enforcement and production technology.
