Foundation Donor Matches Days of Giving Pledges

Patrick Allkins, former KVCC Foundation Board Member and Founder of OnStaff USA, has provided a match of funds raised during the KVCC Foundation's Days of Giving scholarship fundraising event. This exciting news was recently announced by Foundation Executive Director Linda Depta.

"People who work daily with our students know better than anyone else that a scholarship can make the difference between goal achievement and dropping out of college. This campaign was supported by college faculty and staff," Depta said.

Mr. Allkins' generous gift helped the initiative to generate more than $10,000 for student scholarships. Throughout the day on April 5 and 6, gifts were collected at four campus locations. The Days of Giving campaign was one of many festivities part of the college's Community College Month celebrations.
