Kalamazoo Valley Community College is hosting a week of events starting July 17 as part of a statewide campaign to connect working-age adults with post-secondary educational opportunities.

Learn more about how you can make your educational dreams a reality by attending one of the Michigan Reconnect Week events at Kalamazoo Valley Community College - and score free food and free Kalamazoo Growlers tickets while you're at it!

Michigan Reconnect is the largest effort in state history to ensure that Michiganders who are 25 or older and do not have a college degree have an opportunity to earn an associate degree or skills certificate with free or discounted tuition.

Reconnect Information Sessions | 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. |Texas Township Campus
Students interested in the Michigan Reconnect scholarship are invited to meet with the colleges enrollment coordinators to learn more about Michigan Reconnect and the resources and support services available. Register Now.

Open to all current and future students. Discover resources and support services to help you succeed. Staff will be available to help with admissions, financial aid, placement testing and next steps in the enrollment process. Register Now

Community Reconnect Day | 4 - 7 p.m. | Kalamazoo Promise Building
Future and current Reconnect students are invited to stop by the Kalamazoo Promise building at 180 E. Water St., Suite 2005, to learn more about Michigan Reconnect, apply to the college, receive FAFSA assistance and more. First 50 adult learner attendees who verify they have registered for fall semester or apply to Kalamazoo Valley will receive two free tickets to the July 22 Growlers game. Ticket includes buffet dinner.

Michigan Reconnect Social Mixer |3 - 5 p.m. | Anna Whitten Hall on the Arcadia Commons Campus
Current and future Reconnect students are invited to stop by the Anna Whitten Hall courtyard on the Arcadia Commons Campus Center to network with Kalamazoo Valley staff and peers. Enjoy an ice cream bar while connecting with other adult learners. Attendees who verify they have registered for fall semester or apply to Kalamazoo Valley will receive two free tickets to the July 22 Growlers game. First come, first serve. Tickets limited. Ticket includes buffet dinner.

Michigan Reconnect at the Kalamazoo Growlers Game | 6:35 p.m. | Homer Stryker Field
Meet other Reconnect students when the Kalamazoo Growlers take on the Traverse City Pit Spitters. Get two free tickets to the game by attending one of the Reconnect Week on Campus events. Ticket includes buffet dinner.
