Advising and Counseling Drop-In Appointments Available Aug. 21 - Sept. 8
Student Development Services will be offering advising and counseling drop-in appointments from Aug. 21 - Sept. 8, Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8 a.m. - 7 p.m. at the Texas Township Campus in Room 9300. Students must arrive and sign-in no later than an hour prior to close.
During these interactive same-day drop-in appointments, advisors and counselors are available to assist with:
- Interpreting placement test scores
- Explaining program requirements
- Selecting courses
- Changing majors
- Explaining prerequisites
- Reviewing college transcripts
- Performing pre-graduation audits
- Reviewing unofficial transcripts from other schools
- Completing program evaluations for financial aid appeals
- Giving recommendations about adding and dropping courses
Please note that advisors and counselors do not answer questions about financial aid, evaluate official transfer transcripts or give permission to enter full classes. For questions, call 269.488.4040.
*Please note the college's closure until 1 p.m. for staff development on Wednesday, Aug. 30. Advising and counseling appointments will be available that day upon the college's reopening.
