Celebrate Veterans Day with Kalamazoo Valley

Kalamazoo Valley Community College will celebrate Veterans Day with activities planned on Nov. 9 and 10. Plan to attend to honor all who served.

Veterans Day Flag Raising Ceremony | Nov. 9 | 7:30 - 8 a.m. | Anna Whitten Hall in Downtown Kalamazoo
All are welcome to attend this commemorative flag raising ceremony for honoring students, staff and community members who served our country. One of our student veterans, as well as L. Marshall Washington, Ph.D., president of Kalamazoo Valley Community College, will provide remarks during the ceremony. This event will be located outside of Anna Whitten Hall in downtown Kalamazoo at 7:30 a.m. on Nov. 9.

Veterans Day Roundtable Discussion | Nov. 10 | 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. | Texas Township Campus Room 4370
Join our student veterans as they answer questions about why they joined the military and how their experiences have impacted their lives as students. This interactive roundtable discussion will take place at the Texas Township Campus in Room 4370 from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. on Nov. 10.
