Valley Launches 2024 MLK Day Events Online Calendar

Kalamazoo Valley Community College is delighted to announce that it will coordinate the digital community calendar for MLK Day 2024 events.

Every year, the community has enjoyed the convenience of going to a central webpage to learn about Martin Luther King Jr. Day programs in the Kalamazoo area, a service typically organized by local colleges and universities.

If you or an organization you know has a MLK event open to the public, please submit them for consideration at . Below are the submission guidelines, such as what should be included in the calendar entry, length and photos.

Be sure to include:

• Event title
• Event description (1 - 4 sentences; 70 words max)
• Date
• Start time and end time
• Location
• Sponsor(s)
• For more info contact (website, phone number, etc.)
• Intended audience (public, students, etc.)
• Type of event (lecture, workshop, play, etc.)

Images: We welcome high-resolution organizational logos of 300 dpi in PNG or JPEG format, and clear promotional event photos and e-flyers of 300 dpi, which will be used as space allows.
