Recycling Event Scheduled for Oct. 12

Kalamazoo Valley Community College is hosting a recycling event on Saturday, Oct. 12 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Texas Township Campus (6767 W. O Ave., Kalamazoo) parking lot.

EPS foam (commonly known as Styrofoam) will be accepted as well as electronics through a partnership with Green Earth Electronics Recycling. Television recycling is $20 and the fee for display monitors and Freon units is $10.

This event is open to both the public and the college community, and there is no limit to the amount of material that can be recycled. For more information or questions about the event, contact Kalamazoo Valley Facilities Services at 269.488.4540.
