Career Path Conversation: Psychology
Please join us Friday, Nov.8 from 11-12 p.m. in TTC Room 4230 to learn about different career paths and specializations in the field of psychology! There are many options, and this talk is designed to provide direction to students who want to learn more about various graduate degrees that may be pursued in psychology. Dr. Meredith Holland and Dr. Rachael Ferguson will cover a variety of specializations (e.g., clinical psychology, counseling psychology, developmental psychology, health psychology, applied behavior analysis, educational psychology, organizational psychology etc.) to help students determine which path may be the best fit for them. After the talk, students will have a better understanding of the topics covered within each subfield. They also will learn the settings they might work in based on the different career choices. The primary goal will be to help inform on options so that students can choose which career path may be best for them based on their interests, passions, and long-term goals.
