Museum Offers Free Activities After Kalamazoo's Nov. 23 Holiday Parade

The Kalamazoo Valley Museum invites the community to keep the festive mood going after the Nov. 23 Maple Hill Holiday Parade in downtown Kalamazoo: It's offering FREE holiday-themed hands-on crafts, activities and planetarium shows! The family-friendly "North Pole Adventures" event is suitable for all ages.

Patrons will have a chance to create handmade seasonal treasures, as well as compete in Reindeer Games, from 1 to 3 p.m. Guests can also enjoy "Let It Snow," a full-dome video show choreographed to holiday music in the planetarium. Showtimes are noon, 1 p.m. and 2 p.m.

And, of course, expect a favorite attraction for yet another year - visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus for a short time immediately after the parade!

Admission to the museum and all activities are free! Learn more at kalamazoomuseum.org.

The Kalamazoo Valley Museum is located at 230 N. Rose St. in downtown Kalamazoo. The museum is operated by Kalamazoo Valley Community College and is governed by its Board of Trustees.
