The contest and related exhibit will be on display every year during the months of December and January in the Arcus and Center for New Media gallery spaces and open on the evening of Art Hop. Five awards will be given for Director's Choice, Best of Show, first, second and third places.
The exhibit opens on Friday, Dec. 6 at 5:30 p.m. with a 6:00 p.m. presentation of awards.
"Every year we are thrilled with the amount of participation we see from students," said Hamann, "We are impressed by the youth in our community and their commitment to such high-quality submissions. We can't wait to reward the artistic talents of the area's high school students."
