Program Information

The study of political science is the systematic study of government, politics, and political behavior. It examines how a society governs itself at all levels and various ideas about how it should be governed in the future.

Transfer Notes:This degree is designed to be a transfer option for a bachelor’s degree with a political science major. Students often are allowed to choose a concentration area within the political science major, such as American public policy, public law, international and comparative politics, or secondary education. These majors appeal to students with career interests in politics and government, business, education, and law.
