Sociology is the study of societies and how humans act in groups. A society is the community of people living in a particular country or region and having shared customs, laws, and organizations.

Transfer Notes: This degree program is designed to be a transfer option for a bachelor’s degree program with a major in sociology. Often with this major a student may focus on criminal justice, social psychology, or sociology.
