Program Information

Occupational therapy is a profession that helps people across their lifespan to do the things they want and need to do through the therapeutic use of daily activities (occupations). Occupational therapy practitioners enable people of all ages to live life to its fullest by helping them promote health and prevent—or live better with—injury, illness, or disability.

Transfer Notes: This degree program transfers to a bachelor’s degree in health services or health sciences. Students transfer into the bachelor’s degree prior to application to the doctoral level degree in occupational therapy. All occupational therapy programs have competitive admission requirements, such as grade point average, grades in specific prerequisite courses, letters of recommendation, and volunteer experience.
