Program Information

Physician assistants (PAs) are licensed medical professionals who diagnose and treat illness and disease, develop and manage treatment plans, prescribe medications, and often serve as a patient’s principal healthcare provider. They work in physician offices, hospitals, and clinics.

Transfer Notes: This degree program transfers to a bachelor’s degree in health services or health sciences. All physician assistant programs have competitive admission requirements, such as grade point average, grades in specific prerequisite courses, letters of recommendation, and volunteer experience.
