MyValley Account Setup Instructions
Step 1: Create Your MyValley Self-Service Portal Account
- Access www.kvcc.edu/new
- Enter your Kalamazoo Valley e-mail address: username@mail.kvcc.edu
- Enter your New Account Code (NAC) to verify your identity
- Create your password following the listed criteria
Step 2: Setup Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
MFA is an additional level of security requiring you to enter a code sent to you when logging in.
- Click on the MyValley logo at www.kvcc.edu to log in.
- Enter your Kalamazoo Valley e-mail address and the password you created in step 1.
- Choose the type of MFA you wish to use on your mobile phone.
- Recommended: Download an MFA app from your mobile phone app store
- Kalamazoo Valley uses Microsoft Authenticator for MFA
- You may use another MFA app if you prefer
- Option: Receive a code via text message or call to your mobile phone. (Note: Due to bad reception in some areas on campus, you may not receive texts or calls.)
- Recommended: Download an MFA app from your mobile phone app store
- Follow the Microsoft prompts to set up MFA.
- If you will not be using the Microsoft Authenticator app, choose “Use a different verification option” when prompted.
- You will need to scan a QR code for the app or enter your mobile phone number.

Contact the IT technical staff at it@kvcc.edu or go to the Student Computer Lab for help with any questions, if you forget your phone or get a new phone. Please include your Valley ID Number in your email or bring photo ID with you when you visit the Student Computer Lab.
