Skype is a audio/video communication tool. You can communication with people at a great distance or close to home. You just need to create your free account and have internet access and a camera/microphone.

What are some of the ways you could use this for your teaching? You could use it to hold online office hours. You could also invite online speakers to present to your class. Another use would be to allow someone to participate in your course from another location.
