Coordinator/Public Service Advisor
Provide on-going communication and mentoring with students for accountability, engagement, and
connection to college resources and support services. Develop, facilitate, and participate in
educational and social events. Develop and implement veteran specific outreach programs to enroll,
retain, and assist veterans with their transition from military to civilian life in the educational
setting through activities and events such as orientation, open houses, and faculty and staff training.
Jessica Lutz, Financial Aid Advisor
Service members will be given access to a Kalamazoo Valley financial aid advisor who will assist
students and families through all financial aid processes. They will make available appropriate loan
counseling before offering, recommending, arranging, signing-up, dispersing, or enrolling Service
members for private student loans. To make an appointment, service members can contact the Financial Aid

Advise students and parents in all aspects of the financial aid process. Package financial aid funds in
a compliant manner, and communicate to students and parents as needed. Administer the U.S. Department of
Veterans Affairs benefit programs including compliance, processing and reporting.
Accounts Receivable Specialist
Serve as a point of contact to schools, companies, agencies including the Department of Defense,
students, and internal departments regarding accounts receivable responsibilities, including billing
questions, invoicing processes, and other inquiries.
Advising and Counseling
Service members will have access to a point of contact who will provide support and guidance with
