Kalamazoo Valley Accelerated Associate Program

Program Eligibility

To be eligible for our program, students must:

• Apply to Kalamazoo Valley and be accepted.
• Be eligible for in-district tuition.
• Attend school 3/4 or full-time. Student must take at least 9 credits in the Fall and Winter semesters and at least 6 credits in the Summer semester.
• Be pursuing an associate degree offered at Kalamazoo Valley.
• Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and demonstrate financial need.
• (Continuing/Transfer students) Have a minimum GPA of 2.0 and no more than 30 college credits.

Program Expectations

• Meet regularly with your KVAAP counselor and/or advisor.
• Attend all required enrichment activities and seminars.
• Complete the FAFSA each year.
• Actively communicate with KVAAP staff.
• Maintain a 2.0 (or higher) GPA.
